Known for his ability to cast familiar works in a new light, Bell takes on Brahms’s iconic Violin Concerto, an elusive and formidable test of virtuosity. The program also features Schumann’s “Spring,” a work brimming with optimism and renewal, capturing the composer’s joyful embrace of the season’s awakening.
